Pima County, AZ

Pima County has a model policy for civilian domestic violence, but the county does not have a stand-alone officer-involved domestic violence policy. Pima County’s civilian policy makes only a brief reference to officer-involved domestic violence. The reference directs individual departments to develop policies for officer-involved situations, and the reference gives some items to consider when developing a policy. Further, the reference states that a supervisor and a special investigator should conduct the investigation.
